Dr. Laura Frederick (B.Sc., O.D.), a Canadian by birth from Toronto, Ontario earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from the University of Western Ontario, Canada in Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Jim is a California transplant – after 15 years in the San Francisco Bay Area he decided to move closer to family back east. He got his start as an optician in the U.S. Navy and has since gone on to work in nearly every area of the optical industry in his more than 25 year career.
